Enigmatic Plant

Terrible weather to day for photography with really low light levels. I took a few shots of birds down at the shore but ended up blipping one of my neighbours plants. It's a bush with lots of little flowers like this all over it. They are maybe an inch across. Its worth looking LARGE as they are quite complex blooms. Unfortunately my neighbour does not know what they are, though they seem somewhat orchid-like to me but that hardly narrows things down.

Any stabs at identification would be gratefully received.

This is definitely toad-lily, tricyrtis formosona as Chamaeleo pointed out. There is a great site showing macro photos of it which has given me some ideas for the future
