Sandvika

I followed Mrs B to Sandvika this morning. Sandvika is a city about 15 kilometres west of Oslo. The reason why we went there was that Mrs B had found a knitwear shop for knitting baby cloths and things. She is going to be grandmother in March and will start to produce baby cloths today. She (we) got the news a few days ago. News enough. Sandvika is, however, known of the fact that the painter Claude Monet liked this place and stayed here around 1895 and painted several paintings from the views of the town and the surrounding landscape. Enjoy your weekend.
