Stonehenge with Birds

We paid a visit to Stonehenge from Salisbury today. We took the regular hourly tour bus from the center of town; it's perhaps a 25 minute trip and it was very efficient--notably since once there we bypassed a long line waiting to enter. The entrance is about 200 meters away from the stones, out of sight of them, but once you emerge from a tunnel there they are! Everyone follows the path around, which varies from about 40 meters away to perhaps over 8o meters.

A flock of some four dozen starlings arrived soon after our arrival (we were at the nearest point to the stones), and landed near us--it was fun to see them line up. (You'll see them better in large.)

Edit (16/10): This reminded me of another blip of an important landmark in Europe--this one with a single bird.
