The umbrella sellers, Rome

Apologies for the photo on its side. No idea why this happens with upright pictures when I'm uploading from my phone.
As you can imagine, where there are tourists there are people trying to sell them things. The light showers this morning brought the umbrella sellers out in droves. These young men have packs of umbrellas in bags and are able to move through the crowd. In the picture they are heading away from the Colosseum crowds. The showers are over and it had turned into a beautiful day. Maybe they are en route to exchanging this merchandise for scarfs for the cooler evenings. I liked the fountain at the foot of the steps leading to the hill.
