My Day

I was doorman today at work. The EDL was in town. As we were right in the middle, between EDL and UAF meeting points, we had the company of half a dozen mounted and a dozen foot coppers whilst we were open. We shared our chocolates and loos with them. They were as appreciative of our help as we were of theirs. But the highlight of the day was that one of the coppers was the Blackpool custody sergeant that was really impressive on BBC's "999 Emergency" series. #fanboy
