Pork pie

A Nigel Slater recipe that worked very well. My original blip of lichen will not publish. I have just looked to see if I had another photo and had forgotten the pork pie photo shoot. The pie is delicious and although the top looks a bit messy I know this is fine, we bought a Melton Mobray pie from MM few months ago and the juices had oozed onto the pastry. The text was written several days after the date shown.
