R & R...

...got married today.

The "boys" as I know them kindly invited me to the evening celebrations of their day. Not the best shot, but it captured the fun of the night.

They made quite an arrival in their 70's slick and choreographed dance. Behind the DJ was a giant screen flashing up photos of the day revealing the boys in their sharp suits dodging rain showers up at the beach. They described the day as emotional and full of laughs.

Having never been to a Dutch wedding before, it was a learning experience so very different from weddings I've been to before. Friends and family take time to entertain the guests with a variety show I suppose to show their love for the happy couple.

That's it really - a huge room tastefully decorated, guests in clothes that they are comfortable in, good music, drinks and nibbles and so much love that it hits you like a wave when you walk in and leaves you a little empty when you leave.

I'm Truly lucky though, I have the love of the most awesome woman that I have ever met. Leaving the wedding alone the coming home to my true love - I know just how those boys feel.
