Flower umbrella

Made it to my folks later in the day today. Neither my mom or I had a blip yet, so we jumped back in the car and headed to a spot she knows of near the Grand River. We went there to look for birds, but they weren't cooperating. We were just about to give up, when we saw a small garden that was lit up by the setting sun. There wasn't a lot of time to capture much, as the sun was setting fast. So we worked quickly and this was the best of what I managed.

When we got back to their house, I realized that I forgot to pack the dongle thingy card reader that attaches to my iPad. :( Fortunately Mom has Lightroom which saved me!

Thank you all for such nice comments etc. for yesterday's blue jay. :) I'll comment and reply as I can this weekend.
