Roosevelt elk

I drove around Lake Cowichan. The trip was worth it because I came upon six elk grazing beside the road.

I drove 140 kilometers of which forty-five kilometers were gravel logging road.

I visited Skutz Falls, which has fish ladders for spawning salmon. First Nations fish hatchery staff were there attempting to net salmon.
