Freaky Friday . . .

Down to the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park today. Not many people there, we thought, probably due to the $14 admission fee. Then we saw hundreds of these things - large just-opened seed pods that were very busy shedding clouds of cotton-like stuff . . .

"Bloody hell," said Jools, whose favourite movie of all times is the John Wyndham classic, Day Of The Triffids, "We're done for. The other visitors are probably floating away to an alien planet. Let's get the f*ck out of here before they get us as well . . ."

She's feeling much better now, but is banned from watching late night horror movies for a month . . .
