A wall of wood!

The back porch has been totally transformed - while i was away lollygaggin' in Vancouver, Richard and Susanna (our wwoofer at the time) stacked about 15 face cords of wood....here is a view of it while they were stacking! Although i know i will be so grateful to them mid winter, right now it is a very sad sight! wasn't that long ago we were eating dinner out here, looking at the amazing view that is now completely gone!

Started swimming today, did 30 minutes - and can feel the results: a bit stiff is how i feel!

Spent much time in the kitchen making a tomato soup from a recipe....i've had to be creative to get it to taste good!
