Grapes are ready for Picking

The snow line is creeping down the mountains though and it was only 4 degrees this morning so they have to start the vendange soon. One frost or a hail storm and a year's work will be destoyed. This happened 3 year ago in our village and only 20% of the crop survived. This year they are 3 weeks behind because of the late winter we had so fingers and toes crossed.

The snow is down to 1,500m as you might be able to see on the Dents du Midi.
