Bee and flower!

In May I saw a lady planting these flowers. I have no idea what they are! I was impressed as she had just had several operations on her hip and was walking with difficulty using two sticks. Thrawn is a good word to describe her as she refuses to give in to disability. Anyway these have flowered since the end of June and are still lovely with a variety of shades of pink and white. Lucky for me when I went to take a photo this buff tailed bee landed. It has been a lovely sunny day but I thought it would be too cold now for bees.
The snow has disappeared from the Ben today, but I am sure it won't be long before we have more.
