Yorkshire Life, Local Producer of the Year.

What a great surprise when we visited our local farm shop this afternoon, to find that they had just been voted
Yorkshire Life, Local Food Producer of the Year.

Robert is now the third generation of B.Tomlinson and Son, of Pudsey.
Growing cabbages, cauliflowers, sprouts, kale, fennel, celeriac, asparagus,and rhubarb, which is grown in the long dark sheds in winter.

We couldn't congratulate them in person as this afternoon they had gone to a funeral. However their shop assistant said how delighted they were to receive the award on Monday night.

Their farm shop should also have an award for being the most friendly .
Robert's mum and sister run that.
His dad still helps run the farm.
A truly dedicated family in all that they grow and sell.
We are so lucky to have them near by.
