It MUST be LOVE!!!!

Youngest Son & girlfriend came over to spend some time with us here today. He seemed to be a real 'hit' with this particular doe ....... couldn't resist blipping this ........ do hope you like it :-)

One of the larger Bucks was pacing up & down at the top of the hill ....... bellowing his supremacy ....... & making his presence felt! A very majestic sight.

Late evening we heard a strange noise outside ....... we went to see what was causing it. We found that one of the Does had dragged the bag of deer food from the decking & was busy sticking her head into the bag to eat what was left of the food!! She obviously thought it was a 'take-away'. So we emptied what was left for her to enjoy & removed the bag for safety.

It is so hard to believe that these Fallow deer are truly wild & spend most of their time roaming over Cannock Chase!
