The blip itself is my favourite of 30 I caught. This is one of several herons which are seen around the village on a daily basis, but I rarely have the camera's long lens to hand when they strut their stuff.

Recently one of those "teaching us to suck eggs" research projects 'discovered' that people who live by the sea are generally happier than city dwellers. Well goodness me; there's a surprise!
