On the Lookout

This cute little sparrow sat on top of a very flat hedge looking for his mates who appeared shortly afterwards. There is a large community of sparrows that live in several of the hedges in the lane near the house, as I walked down the road I could hear them all twittering to each other before flying in and out of the hedge, so nice to watch and listen to. I managed to get a short walk in before the heavens opened and the gales started, brrrrr, it's sooo cold outside now, glad to get back home and start some baking to warm me up :-)
