On a Roman Road

Our weekly walk took us along a couple of miles of the old salt route which went from Saltfleetby to Ferriby on the Humber and thence to York. The hedgerows were full of fruits of various kinds, including delicious bullaces (wild damsons) and really sour crab apples.
