Coming home.

This is what it was like coming home today. Not exactly sure where it was on the road, so the location is 'about' right.
Went to Picton early this morning from Blenehim, as it was overcast in there, and I was hoping it might have been misty in Picton. But NO! just dull.
On the way home, between Broughtons Bay & Te Mahia, I saw 2 little dogs trotting down the road. They were quite dirty, and going at a pace between a walk & a run. So I rang the chap we had got our pups from, as they looked similar. Went onto answer phone, so I left a message. Then I found the cellphone number for the chap who owned the father of the pups.
He answered, and Yes, he had lost 2 dogs that were like I described. He wasn't happy as he had been looking for them for over 3 hours, and luckily wasn't too far away from where I was. So I turned the car around and went and picked them up. Soon afterwards I met up with Paddy and he collected his dogs. One is the father of Poppy & Gypsy and the other is a brother to them. He had let them off for a run, while he was fixing the water supply, and then suddenly realised they had gone............
It wasn't until I was about half an hour up the road, that I realised that I had missed a great blip photo of the two run-away dogs.......
About half an hour later I got a return call from the chap who I had left the message for..... 2 of his dogs were missing also.
