Blooms

I bought these beautiful red blooms at Ohoka Market, when I headed out there with CR this morning. I have been assured they'll last for at least a few weeks if I look after them carefully. They don't look real. The detail in them is amazing, and best appreciated, I feel, in black and white.

Apart from going to the market, I've been marking and cleaning the house.The kitchen and laundry look wonderful. The rest will have to wait a while longer; I have a dog to walk.

Bracken (Cousteau's brother) arrives early tomorrow morning; not sure how long the house will stay tidy for!
