Bad News

The US shutdown is a very interesting topic. It doesn't seem to affect us here over the Atlantic, but I keep reading about how subtleties in the laws surrounding the shutdown are affecting Americans. Veterans are not getting payed anymore. The closure of national parks is affecting landscape photographers. The republicans are at an all-time low of 28% approval, since polling started decades ago. Economists can't even predict what would happen if the debt ceiling were broken, the event is so unprecedented.
Its such an interesting turn of events, but somehow here in the bubble everything feels very detached.

Anyway, lazy photo but hey, I thought it would be interesting to freeze current headlines in my blip, to look back in the future. I took the evening to backblip, Anu's out on a pub crawl and Eve is photographing her first night at Smack. I need to get back on top of things, and its gonna take time unfortunately.
