I've Blipped this building before. It's where my fortnightly networking lunches take place.

It's worth Blipping again, as it's too easy to take for granted the splendour of the Georgian architecture in Edinburgh's New Town. (Is Royal Terrace in the New Town? Anyway, same style).

This week in Scotland we've had a wee skirmish about flags. Stirling Council - controlled by a Labour & Conservative coalition in spite of the SNP being the largest party - were planning to remove the Scottish flag from the Council's HQ and replace it with the UK one.

Usually such infantile cr@p is reserved to the nutball community in N Ireland, so it's sad to see it happen here.

Point is, I was chuffed to see the Crowne Plaza flying the Saltire along with their own flag. Well done.
