Eva met Natalie and Esmay xxx

For the second night running, I was coughing terribly through the night, and for the second night running, Eva didn't wake past 1am. Very odd how it doesn't seem to wake her but has the opposite effect. It's been weeks since she's slept through from that kind of time.

We'd got stay and play at 10, so I set my alarm for 8 am. Eva was still asleep when it went off so I went and got my shower and makeup done, then expecting her to be awake, went back in the bedroom to get her up, but she was still zonked with her snuggle bear blankie across her face, so I crept back out and went and sorted the cats. She was awake once I'd finished, so I got her up and sorted, and off we went.

We were meeting Jen and Eva (Jen text to say they were running late, as Eva had decided to try and eat her mascara, not good), but we were also meeting Natalie and Esmay there. I was very excited, as I hadn't seen Nat since I started my mat leave last December, and she was yet to meet Eva. Also, I hadn't seen Esmay since she was a baby. It was wonderful to see them both.

Eva loved stay and play as usual. She loves seeing the other babies and children and sits there, like a big girl, on the mat. Some of her favourite things are still the maracas and other shaky musical instruments. At snack time she was happily munching away on some breadsticks, and then loved listening to the songs at the end. I think today's favourite was 5 Little Ducks.

Nat and Esmay came back with us for coffee and a natter afterwards. Esmay was mesmerised by the cats, she kept wanting to go upstairs to see the ones on Jake's bed. It was so cute when they were leaving as Esmay said "thank you for me to come" which Nat deciphered as she was saying thank you for having me. Can't believe she's only 2 years old, so clever. I think Eva was quite taken with Esmay too (today's pic is as we were leaving stay and play). Nat kept saying what a happy baby Eva is, everyone says that about her which makes me so proud. :-)

Eva had a sleep from around 12.30 til about 2 ish today. Then on her mat I read her Wow! said The Owl again, which she loved, and then got the bubbles out so was blowing them up in the air for them to fall down and pop on her and she was trying to catch them.

I gave her her bath tonight, and we sang nursery rhymes and I poured the water over each of her hands and each foot, then on her tummy with the yellow scoop. She loves it hehe. She was fast asleep in bed by about 8 ish again, after her milk and snuggles xxx
