The old and the new

First day in Boston : we walked the Freedom Trail from Boston Common to the Bunker Hill monument.

Hard to decide which photo to post but decided on this one of the Old State House, from the balcony of which, the Declaration of Independence was first read out to the citizens of Boston. It is also the site of the Boston Massacre of 1770, when British soldiers shot five colonists.
