New lens

Well, this is it!

FINALLY had a chance to have a play with the new Nikkor 85mm 1.4G lens that SweetArt has carried out to me from Hong Kong! She has also taken this excellent picture of me showing off my monogrammed shirt! (My initials are CJA!)

I've had a play and at the moment, am really struggling with a prime lens, having started out in photography taking pictures at Arab weddings and always using a wide range zoom . . . feeling like I'm in a straight jacket. Wondering if a 35mm or 50mm 1.4 might have been a better start into prime lenses... Just need to play more!

It is the weekend. Enough said. :)
