Stark Raving ....

I was supposed to be visiting a friend today, but she cancelled as she is not well. I'd intended to go via one of my favourite parks, but then I thought there's no need to miss out on the park.. It was very pleasant. I wrapped up warm and some sunny intervals kept everything looking very nice with the onset of the Autumn colours. The strong winds had brought down huge numbers of conkers - seems to be a good year for them too. I don't know what it is about conkers - those sleek, shiny richly coloured objects. Impossible not to pick them up and stuff your pockets with them.
