Hakuna Matatu
What a wonderful pun phrase. I will incorporate this into my life much more.
Today's Uganthem
------------
Today was a total bloody fiasco... Total bloody fiasco. The problem was that when we woke up and went to go get breakfast no one had a clue as to what we were doing. It ended up with our group not going to the river until the afternoon, so there was far too much waiting around going on. We just sat around and talked and got to know each other. It was cool just to totally chill and not have to worry about anything. I should try and have more moments like this.
Eventually the afternoon rolled around and we crammed in to the Matatu and just as we walked away from the drop-off point the heavens opened and torrential downpour ensued. We all ran for cover and ducked in to this stranger's house to shelter. She offered us a seat and some sugar can and didn't seem the slightest bit freaked out that a group of Mzungu just strolled in to her house. The lighting from the doorway was ridiculously good so I grabbed some more portraits and obligatory African Child shots.
When it stopped raining we moved on, after thanking her, and quizzed some more locals on what exactly they would use the electricity for, if we could get this hydro project to work. We returned to a school we visited yesterday and Saddler gave us a football that he asked us to donate. When we threw the football in to the air the kids went absolutely nuts! Absolutely unbelievable reaction; such a small token makes such a massive difference.
Back to the hostel to dry out, to Dutchess for dinner (9 baby Calzone pizzas between 6 of us was the greatest idea ever) and the Colin and God joined us for a night out in Forrest Club where there was a Reggae band playing some awesome tunes. The night was good, but quite subdued until we went to Club Africana where the music was even better!
A great night.

Minimalism, nature, does it count as macro(?) and monochrome. It's a cacophony of genres.
