Dock Dogs at the Salmon Festival

We took advantage of the great weather today and headed down to Issaquah, WA for the annual Salmon Days festival.

One of the featured attractions was the the Puget Sound Dock Dogs competition where we watched the Big Air® contest, a "long jump for dogs". Dogs run down the 40' dock and then jump into the water after a throw toy. Longest distance from the end of the dock to where the tail breaks the water's surface determines the winner.

We got a little wet, but it was worth it to get shots like this...
