Long Journal Update
So I was looking forward to catching up on your journals tonight (about time!), but we've had my SIL & BIL round after visiting DIL in hospital tonight.
On Monday after getting back from Cheltenham, we saw DIL after hearing he'd had a reaction to the anit-biotics he's been on for a week. He went to the docs and got some anti-histamine and steroid cream, at this stage he had a red slightly puffed face.
Then yesterday I popped round to check out the fixings of the curtain pole I've spent pretty much the whole of today putting up and I saw DIL, he looked like this, yet much less cute and much redder. Then at 11:30 pm MIL called to say that he had got stuck trying to turn the TV plug off. We went round to find him sweating and bleeding in an awkward position. We got him to the floor and called for an ambulance. Four very professional paramedics turned up and took him to hospital. MIL went with him and he stayed in so we collected her at 3:00 am.

Today we postponed our walk to Leith Hill and I put up the new curtain pole in J's Mum & Dad's front room, whilst they visited him in hospital. He's had various tests to find out what's going on and he's stayed in tonight too, but he's in good hands.

In other news we seem to have a new lot of squizzels around and I watched one of them nearly lose it's life to the local ginger tom this afternoon.
