Manflu

So at about 10.30 on my first anniversary of working at HSBC and man flu strikes! This stuff tasted pretty odd and I don't think it did me a huge amount of good! But it's OK - the Ibuprofen can just be made out behind the bottle.

This evening wasn't great either (understatement) - mum called to tell me Gran had been taken in to hospital and things weren't looking good so she was heading South - then we heard that she had stabilised.... and then we heard that she hadn't. So just as I had loaded my bags in to the car to head South with my mum we got the news we were hoping never to hear - that we were too late :-(

R.I.P. to my Incredible Shrinking Granny - 80 years young.
