What a difference some sunshine makes! After our adventures on Samson the previous day we decided to stay on St. Mary's where we took a nice walk to Bant's Carn and Halangy Village. By the afternoon the fog had descended again so we were glad we'd timed our walk well.

The Isles of Scilly have next to no crime which gave the place quite a unique feeling, our B&B remained unlocked 24/7. The first couple of nights I have to admit experiencing the urge to get up and barricade my bedroom door but eventually got over it.
