Almost missed!

Just noticed the lovely sunset as I went to close the curtains early this evening!
Yes, it seems to be getting darker earlier every night!
A day at home today - phew! Had a walk with Russet and her little friend in warm sunshine this morning. The field was very wet with a heavy dew. Out into the garden to mulch some beds and put down bark to provide little paths among the shrubs.
We are having guests to stay for the weekend, so tried to get inspired and plan meals! Mary Berry and Nigel Slater came to the rescue! Friday afternoon will be busy in the kitchen!!
