A near perfect Tuesday
Nanny came over this morning to watch Oliver whilst mummy took cam to our beloved woodlands playgroup. Cam feels right at home there now and it has allowed him to learn quickly how to walk/run on uneven terrain. It is hard to believe 6 weeks ago he was barely a walker. He had great fun today playing with the tin can band, blowing bubbles and even painting a picture without any help from mummy.
We had to skip away a bit early as Ollie had been summoned by the health visitors to weigh in due to his slow weight gain. The good news is he has put on 6oz in 4 days and now back to his birth weight however mummy's gut is telling her something still isn't right with his eating/digestion so don't think it will be the last of the issue.
As a treat, nanny took us all out for afternoon tea to a local herb centre. Cam ate the biggest bit of shortbread but burned it all of running round looking at all the stone animals and sculptures shouting 'oh look'
It would have been the perfect day if cam had then not decided to gouge out his brother's eye leaving Ollie with a nasty scratch and mummy nearly having a heart attack. These random attacks are impossible to predict, never come out of malice and seem to occur once a day. Mummy wishes she knew how to stop/prevent them but until then it is all eyes on cam!
