slow-moving sunday

Got up and made a lemon meringue pie to take to mum's for Sunday lunch. She told me she was just going to have some fruit salad for pud so I thought I'd bring the sugar ;)

Got to mum's for around 1pm and Pierre and I gave her a hand. She had made a gorgeous Asian-style pork dish and 'boeuf a la mode'. Both were bloody gorgeous!

There were loads of us: mum, dad, Louise, John, Bobby, Caroline, Paddy, Elizabeth, Sarah, Marie-Claire, Pierre and I. It was great to have us all together.

Pierre and I left around 4pm and went for a walk up to Notre Dame de Bon Secours in Nyons. We'd been meaning to do it for ages and it was great after a big lunch.
