BabyApple's First Ironman Spectating

The whole reason for this trip is that my friend M is doing her second Ironman distance race. It just didn't seem right not to be there for her after last time and I am working hard to incorporate the new Apple family - with baby! - into our old friends' lives. Here we are, out on a lonely strip of road at about mile 105 of the bike course. It was a very long hot day of spectating with lots of highs and lows but in the end, she finished again which is a huge relief.
