Ice cold - you canny beat it!!! Woo hoo it's Wednesday, the end if my working week. It's been pretty full on - emotionally, at work this week. Totally professional at al times, and kept it together at all times . It's when you are on your own, driving home or sitting watching TV your patients pop into your head, thinking about their situation. Being a palliative care nurse in the hospital is so different from being a nurse in the Hospice. I feel sadder in the hospital than in the Hospice. Why? I'm not too sure, maybe because in the Hospice we are all working together and support each other , in the hospital there very much is a feeling of isolation .
