Today, I visited Maidstone - hardly the prettiest place in Kent- and this new hotel, built right next to a very busy roundabout, seems to be adding to the town's catalogue of ugly premises.

I waited ages until the traffic lights stopped the traffic sufficiently to get a picture without cars!

I think it is neither optimally located, nor architecturally splendid - but it has offered an opportunity for a few monochrome adjustments.
