first attempt at a star trail

... the skies over the san luis valley were the blackest , and the brightest stars I've ever seen.

i tried to attempt my first ever star trail ... this is the result , was tricky as my camera doesn't have the setting for the continuous exposure , and my memory card was too full of other things to take hundreds and then stack them later ....


beautiful though !! - the photo doesn't really give it justice !
