Not TV Aerial Repair Man.

Saw this chap working way above the roof tops in Weymouth. Went round to the Quays,it was the Bosun on the main mast Pelican of London. His name is Jerry Godrich,and he was repairing the "ratlings". The ship(or is it boat?) heads off soon to the Channel Is,then onto the Baltic Sea for the European Tall Ships Race. What a life these seafarers have ! He gave me a tour of the boat ,I did offer my services to` blip` all the way to the Baltic and back. He said he would ring me if required. If they reach the World Final,its off to the Caribbean. The ship was built in Hull, 1948.
