Big bugs!
Was going to take the dogs for a walk on Crinan shore but it was blowing a hooley! Decided instead to go to one of the many little woodland walks, this one by the Moine Mhor. Just as I got out the car I was accosted by a very enthusiastic lass working for SNH (she was lucky I didnt push her off the path such is my dislike for SNH) however I am nearing the twilight of my years and a lot more mellow so made her walk the path with me. She was doing one of these stupid surveys to which they already know all the answers, however she was young and keen so I obliged. Questions ranged from "Did I come here often" What would I like to see imoproved"! she took a chance with that one! etc etc. She was full of the joys and easy to talk to and finally got her survey form filled in.
In the meantime the dogs were running about and were wary of some rather larger than life bugs placed here there and everywhere as part of some tree hugging art installation called Giants of the Forrest or some stupid thing! To be fair it made for an interesting walk and pictures so I shouldn't grumble!
Really serious camera club night tonight and I am also on the point of possibly flogging my big CAnon 40D (my late dad bought it and its served me well but I think its time to part) Im going to spend the Canon money (should it sell) on a better bridge camera for chubby hubby so any suggestions of what type to get him would be most welcome
Happy blipping all
