Southern Necropolis

Still reading Witness the Dead by Craig Robertson.

Last week I blipped the scene of the discovery of the first body.

This is where they found the second one. She actually lived in one of the flats in the background but didn't quite make it home!

This Necropolis also has a White Lady monument. Magdalene died after walking into the path of a tram in Queens Drive in 1933. They say there is a mysterious glow from the White Lady if you visit after dark. And during the day she is said to turn her head and look at you as you walk past. But if you catch her eye, you too will turn to stone. However I discovered on YouTube that if she does catch your eye, if you run round the statue 3 times and shout "White Lady", "White Lady" you will be o.k.
