Fintry Hills

I stopped en route to the village of Fintry this morning to catch this view. It was such a refreshing change to see blue sky! If you go large, you might also see some cows.

Looking east to the Galbraith Woods, you'll just have to take my word for it that Culcreuch Castle is hidden in there somewhere. Built in 1296 it was the ancestral seat of the Clan Galbraith - bitter rivals of Clan MacFreuchie - but is now a hotel and popular wedding venue.
