Batik Workshop

Did a batik workshop today and I really enjoyed it. The thick white lines is the wax.
I dropped a big blob of wax by mistake below the fish!

The picture has to be soaked in sodium silicate overnight to fix it and then the chemical is washed off and the silk is put in boiling water until the wax has melted.

I've left it at the workshop as the lady who ran the workshop will do the final process.
She's going to sort the blob too.
I'll blip it when she sends it back to me.
