Kayla disappears into the undergrowth every day and comes back with an avocado - usually unripe. The ones that grow near the house are not good quality, so we both ignore those. And the tree hers grow on is so tall that the avocados smash as they hit the ground. So far we haven't found a way to get them down intact, so she, the birds and the insects have full rein.
