Grand Canyon

A token Blip if ever there was one. I've been warned that there are 'canyon addicts' who walk amongst us. So I have chosen my words carefully.

When we got to the Grand Canyon I was suitably nonplussed. We found it to be not as intrinsically appealing as other canyons. It appears that the Grand Canyon is literally as stated, i.e. it's just it's sheer size that's meant to impress. I was underwhelmed.

We learnt that of the millions of folk who visit every year that only 1% venture below the rim. So suitably challenged we went for a day walk down into the canyon. Incredibly steep path. Very hot. And big.

Sadly whilst we were there visibility was very poor due a prolonged bout of high temps.
