Starting University

This afternoon,we dropped a slightly nervous Daniel off at New College, Oxford. We just about managed to fit everything in the car (I was slightly crushed in the back like a beetle), but managed to fit his bike in too, surprisingly!

Fortunately, there were lots of friendly students waiting outside to meet the freshers and help carry everything up to his room, way up the top of a tall, spiral staircase. We were surprised to see how large his room was (pictured here). I think he was very happy with that and hopefully, will be happy there too! Lots of hard studying to come (after a week of fresher's frivolities of course). Hopefully it won't come as too much of a shock after a gap year!

I'm proud to say, I managed to control myself and not shed a tear!!
