Messy swan!

Today I had three images to choose from for my Blip. I chose this one as I love the coquettish attitude of this swan. The pond has a fine covering of algae which the swans seem to enjoy feeding on, hence her rather messy appearance!
We now have a young heron in the pond. Usually, the herons keep themselves to themselves and can be camera shy. Not this heron - I am sure he thinks he is a duck and is a gregarious character, mixing happily with the ducks and other birds in the pond, and boldly vies for any bread that visitors to the park bring. I'm not so sure that this is the best food for him however.
