Nice to be home

We're back home. It's always nice to go away - but it's even nicer to come back home!

This morning I went for a walk with Alfie, the bearded collie, and we met his little friend, Tess the spaniel.

We went through the fields and I know where the trough is so I immediately went running off and jumped straight in for a good old wallow. Alfie is a bit stupid! He just stood and barked at me and wouldn't come in. As for Tess - well she's as 'mad as a hatter' and just bounced around doing her own thing.

It was lovely to be off my lead again for a good run. For those of you BLIPPERS who asked why I had to stay on my lead yesterday on my 6 mile walk .................it was because I can't be trusted not to go chasing sheep ...............and there are a lot of sheep in the Dales.

Anyway we had a long journey home so Ann thought I might like to go to Carbis Bay Beach for a play with my bouncy ball before we settled in for the night.

But do you know what? ...................I've had such an exhausting weekend that I didn't want to play with my bouncy ball.

I've gobbled up my dinner and now I'm snoozing in my bed.

Home is where the heart is!!!!!

Back to our usual routine tomorrow??!!
