Wisdom

The Finnish poem "Maalari (painter)" is by Aaro Hellaakoski.

It´s clumsy translation is like this:

All day long I lived the landscape,
touching by thirsty eyes the trees, the hill.
When evening came I made a picture
of the leaf of the birch.

The text in English origins from G. B. Shaw and is quoted by Robert Kennedy.
