High tide at Iron Wharf

Faversham Creek still has an active shipyard for repairs, boatbuilding and maintenance. Old flat open barges are used as dry docks and boats are lifted in and out by crane.

The footbridge does lift to allow access in and out of the side creek but I've yet to be there to see it lifted.

Definitely part of my favourite walk these days.
